Drill diving in Kostrena

With sun on our side and work in mind a smaller group of IAHD members (Alenka and Tatjana and Slavc and me) went to visit our old friend – underwater wall in Kostrena. Tatjana have to do some exercises but nevertheless she shined with her persisting will and fulfilled every drill and task Alenka our instructor assistant asked from her. Not up not down not deeper than 12m and not to forget the perfect stroke… Yes that is an expert vocabulary that all the IAHD beginners are familiar with. Fortunately in water we can’t hear very well so she managed to throw a look in some holes in search for the beauty we are diving for. My diving buddy was Slavc and since we didn’t have any duties the plan was to have fun and enjoy the dive. The plan resulted in two beautiful warm and long dives. I also tested new underwater technical equipment – an underwater mask with lenses for long-sight seeing and with them I become aware of the variety of underwater flora and fauna. The day ended with the dinner on the terrace above the diving centre where we successfully finished the delicious house speciality. After that we slowly and satisfied went to our homes.
