The 7th International Day witouth Wheelchair

On the 16^th of July Paraplegic Association of Slovenia with support of Swimming Club Slovenske Konjice and others (IAHD Adriatic, Drustvo paraplegikov jugovzhodne Stajerske, Institute of Sport from Slovenske Konjice, Community of Slovenske Konjice and JKP d.o.o.) organized the 7^th International Day without Wheelchair. There were around fifty disabled people from Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.

The purpose of the event is the exchange of experiences between the younger and older members and test different ways to move like drive different cars which are adapted for disabled people, swimming, diving, underwater scooter driving and others.

Most of the event took place in the swimming pool where disabled recreational divers, members of the IAHD Adriatic, exchanged the experience and made the diving discovery for new members.

This event was an opportunity to represent the international diving team composed of recreation divers with spinal cord injury: Goran Todorovic from Serbia, Tatjana Varga from Croatia and Barbara Slacek from Slovenia, which will represent the Adriatic region on the IAHD Adriatic international expedition to Cuba in the end of 2010.
