Krka River

Krka and the Old Bridge

Saturday 23rd of May we spend in Kostanjevica on River Krka. It was for 13th time in a row that we gathered there for cleaning the bottom of river Krka.
Once a year for the last twelve years divers from Slovenia are removing trash from the Krka bottom and every year there is less and less work to do. The meeting becomes traditional and divers from near countries appear for the last few years. Last year was special because the first Slovenian diver with SCI – Spinal Cord Injury submerged into river Krka. It was Ales Povse – Yoda.
This year was exceptional because first and so far the only Croatian diver with SCI Zoran Vlah together with Slovenian handicapped colleague Peter Majcen - LG also submerged into Krka, which was fast and unfriendly because the heavy rain appeared few days before.
The rest of the day we spend together drinking Cvichek and eating fried Trout’s.
