Divesystem College & Monte Argentario Expedition 2009

On the 14^th of June 2009 we started our journey from Slovenia to Tuscany. After almost twelve hours of journey we arrived in the center Divesystem in Massa Marittima. The college is located in one of the finest areas of rural Tuscany, an hour by coach from Siena, close to the lovely village of Massa Marittima. We settled and tested the center swimming pool.

The next morning we went to the south towards Monte Argentario to Porto Santo Stefano, where we were waiting for the ship from which we have been diving two days. We spent the night in the Pineta in a nice apartment in the middle of Mediterranean vegetation.
 
We enjoyed the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea with walls full of yellow and red gorgons, and a lot of fishes. We made some interesting dives in which we tested new computers Suunto Vyper Air.
 
After two days of diving we returned to the Dive System College, which is a diving equipment factory for recreational and technical divers. Their equipment is used also for the Police and Army. They have shown us the factory, than we could test the equipment in the 10.5meters deep swimming pool. We tried different compensators, a special mask “Head-up-Display” to display data from a computer and a prototype of the water scooter. Ales Povse, a disabled diver, also tried Rebreather. His comment: total silence.
